Memento
Overview
Here's a film that runs backwards and somehow makes perfect sense. Guy Pearce plays a man who can't form new memories, hunting his wife's killer with Polaroids and tattoos as his only evidence. Nolan tells it in reverse fragments, so you're as lost as Leonard is — and that's the genius of it. Every rewatch reveals something new. If you think you've got the ending figured out halfway through, keep watching. You don't.
