Retribution
Overview
Liam Neeson, a car, and a bomb that goes off if he stops — it's basically Speed with school drop-off. A mysterious caller traps a banker and his kids in their vehicle, forcing him to follow orders across the city. Neeson does his grizzled-dad thing reliably, and the ticking-clock tension works even when the plot gets silly. Perfect background thriller for a weeknight when you want stakes without homework.
