The Sopranos Season 3
Overview
Ralph Cifaretto arrives — a made man whose cruelty shocks even the mob — and his presence poisons everything he touches. Meanwhile Tony's therapy stalls, Meadow leaves for college, and the show gets simultaneously funnier and more merciless. Joe Pantoliano is terrifying. This is when the tragedy underneath the comedy becomes impossible to ignore. Essential viewing, start from season one.
