Fargo Season 1
Overview
A put-upon insurance salesman, a drifter with no conscience, and a very pregnant, very decent cop walk into a Minnesota winter. What follows is ten episodes of escalating Midwestern dread — funny until it isn't, then horrifying, then funny again. Thornton is pure menace, Freeman heartbreaking, Tolman perfect. Funny, bleak, and brilliant — often within the same scene. The Coen spirit, stretched beautifully across ten episodes.
