Titans Season 1
Overview
Titans is a 2018 superhero television series created by Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, and Greg Berlanti for DC Universe and later HBO Max, based on the DC Comics superhero team of the same name. The series follows a group of young superheroes as they join forces. The team includes: Dick Grayson / Robin (Brenton Thwaites), a former sidekick of Batman who is trying to find his own identity; Kory Anders / Starfire (Anna Diop), a alien princess with amnesia; Rachel Roth / Raven (Teagan Croft), a goth teenager who is being hunted by a demonic cult; and Gar Logan / Beast Boy (Ryan Potter), a shapeshifter who can turn into animals. The series is a dark, violent, and gritty take on the Teen Titans, more in the vein of the DC films than the animated series. The first season was a critical and commercial success, praised for its action and its performances.
